As part of the role of equipping the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:12), the GCF elders are offered a four-week training to help those who would serve (or would like to serve) the church body in this capacity.
Our goal is to equip the people of God to minister to one another more effectively, with biblical discernment, compassion and tactfulness.
We want to provide a biblical foundation for serving God's people wisely, practical steps/protocol to follow when doing visits. At the end of each session, we will look at examples of common issues faced by those we are visiting, and we will discuss what passages we could use to help those in need of encouragement.
