Ronaldo Barbosa was born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil, where he came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of twelve at Igreja Batista Fundamentalista Cristo é Vida. Since his youth, Ronaldo developed a great love and care for the church of Christ, and has been serving in ministry since at different capacities. In 2014, Ronaldo moved to Los Angeles to get better equipped to do ministry at The Master’s Seminary & University, having earned a Masters in Divinity in 2019 (watch his senior testimony) and MA in Biblical Counselling (MABC) in 2021. He has been our associate pastor since June 2022, focusing primarily on counseling and teaching the adult Sunday school class. He is also a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). with specialization in counseling addictions. Ronaldo married his best friend Lindsey in January 2021, whom he met in school while doing his MABC. Both Ronaldo and Lindsey love encouraging believers with God’s Word through biblical counseling and enjoy hosting people in their home.
